Mojo Criollo (Moe-hoe Kree-oh-yah) is an incredible sauce and marinade. The bitter citrus of Seville oranges is combined with olive oil, oregano, and garlic, garlic, garlic. It makes for a nice dip for Cuba’s amazing roast pork, lechon asado, and also makes a great sauce for crispy tostones as well as all kinds of seafood.

Ingredients
Mojo Criollo
- ⅔ cup Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1½ tbsp Orange zest, fine
- ½ cup Orange juice
- ¼ cup Lime juice
- 8 cloves Garlic, minced
- ½ cup Cilantro, lightly chopped (optional)
- ¼ cup Mint leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Each: salt and black pepper
Instructions
Make Mojo Criollo
- Combine all the marinade ingredients in a large bowl and whisk to combine. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
