Okonomiyaki is basically a savory pancake that’s a popular street food. Also called “Japanese pizza”, these delicious beauties are always served during celebrations and festivals like Obon and the Orange Blossom Festival.
Japanese Okonomiyaki Sauce
- Pint jar with lid
- ¼ cup Oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- ½ cup Ketchup
- 7 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Combine oyster sauce and sugar in a pint jar or other container with a lid. Shake until sugar has dissolved.
- Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Shake again. Taste and make any adjustments. Serve immediately with Okonomiyaki pancakes or seal tight and refrigerate for 2-3 weeks.
