It makes perfect sense, sort of, that the world longest country would create potentially the world’s longest hot dog? I digress. Ingredients
- 4 All-beef hot dogs
- 4 Hot dog buns
- 1 large Ripe avocado, ripe, halved and pit removed
- 2 tsp Hot sauce (likie Tabasco or Cholula)
- 1 clove Garlic, mashed to a paste
- 1 tsp Lime juice
- ¼ tsp Kosher salt
- ½ cup Sauerkraut
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- 1 medium Lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Grill or fry hot dogs according to package instructions.Scoop avocado from skins with a spoon. Mash avocado until mostly smooth. Stir in garlic paste, hot sauce, lime juice, and salt. Place cooked hot dogs into buns and top each with equal amounts of avocado mixture, sauerkraut, and mayonnaise. Feel free to add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chili, and/or cheddar cheese.
